- Spectators: Keep Your Distance
If you’re not riding, stay clear of the action. Standing in the middle of the skatepark can be dangerous and disruptive to riders. Always watch from the mezzanine and viewing areas. - Beginners: Choose Off-Peak Times
While skateparks are inclusive spaces, they are often used by skilled riders practicing advanced tricks. If you’re new to the skatepark, try to avoid peak hours when learning the basics. - Stay Alert to Avoid Collisions
Skateparks can be crowded, with many riders using the space simultaneously. Always be aware of your surroundings and stay vigilant to prevent accidents. - No “Snaking”
Don’t cut in front of other riders who are in the middle of a run or about to drop into a feature. Wait for your turn to ensure everyone can ride safely. - Get Up Quickly After a Fall
If you fall or don’t land a trick, get up as quickly as possible. Other skaters may be approaching fast. If you’re injured, signal for help. - Filmmakers: Stay Out of the Way
If you’re filming, be mindful of your position. Avoid obstructing the path of riders and be aware of the flow of the park. - Plan Your Lines
Skateparks are designed with a flow in mind. Plan your lines to follow the natural course of the park, avoiding sudden or erratic changes in direction. - Avoid Resting on the Coping
Coping zones on ramps, bowls, and half-pipes are high-speed areas. Don’t sit or stand on the coping when riders are using the feature. - Respect Beginners and Kids
Be patient with younger and less experienced riders. If they make a mistake, offer guidance rather than frustration. A positive experience can help them stay involved in the sport. - Keep the Skatepark Clean
Dispose of rubbish properly. Don’t leave litter like bottles or wrappers lying around. Keeping the skatepark clean ensures a better experience for everyone. - Keep the Skatepark safe
Ensure to always treat the park with respect, we understand that sometimes things do get damaged unexpectedly, If you break or notice any area that needs maintenance, please let a staff member know. - Use the skatepark for its intended use
Although the park can appear to be one big playground, please ensure you use the facility as it is intended. You must remain on your skateboard, scooter, bike or blades at all times, sliding down the ramps or running around is dangerous to yourself and other park users. - Always ride within your abilities
At the skatepark you will see riders complete a huge variety of cool tricks, although it is natural for us to want to become as advanced as possible, keep in mind some riders have been doing this their whole lives and progression skills need to be learnt first.
