Program details
Term dates: Monday 20th April – Monday the 22nd June
Lessons will run from 5pm – 7pm every Monday during these terms, with participants also having unlimited access to the park 7 days a week during the duration of the term.
The program combines structured coaching, individual goal setting, and competition-focused training to bridge the gap between recreational participation and high-performance skateboarding. Participants train in small groups under dedicated coaches, developing technical ability, personal style, and a structured competition routine, while also benefiting from guest sessions with experienced riders and a final showcase event.

Meet the coach
Will Stoyles is a passionate skateboard coach dedicated to supporting young athletes through fun, inclusive, and development-focused programs. With experience coaching across both grassroots and high-performance environments, Will brings a strong understanding of how to build skills, confidence, and a positive approach to progression.
Will has been involved as a coach across the past two Olympic cycle skateboarding events, working with athletes in international competition environments, as well as delivering and supporting high-performance camps at the AIS and across Australia through Skate Australia’s pathways program. Will has also worked internationally with the Chinese National Skateboarding Team, coaching both in Australia and in China, where he spent an extended period supporting athlete development within a high-performance training environment.
Alongside his coaching experience, Will has a strong personal background in skateboarding. He was a sponsored skateboarder from a young age, representing major Australian brands and an international footwear company. He has featured in Australian skate videos, been interviewed in Slam Skateboard Magazine, and appeared in international print media. His competitive highlights include winning the Vans Warped Tour events in Melbourne (1997) and Sydney (1999), and competing in California, USA against leading international amateur skateboarders.
Alongside his high-performance experience, Will has a background in youth-focused coaching and community programs, with a strong emphasis on creating safe, engaging environments where young people feel supported to learn, grow, and express themselves through skateboarding.
